Has Sidney Carton exposed any redeemable qualities thus far? Or is he just a drunk with nothing significant to contribute to anyone or anything?

Aly Kern: Sidney Carton is obvously the smater and more talented out of him and CJ Stryver. He finds himself nothing but a drunk with nothing significant to contribute to anyone or anything but we can see there is more there than meets the eye.

Scott- Sidney Carton may be a self-loathing drunk, but he is not lacking all redeeming qualities. When Lucie Manette faints in the courthouse, Carton is the first to notice and petition someone for aid. He also is intelligent and works all night for C.J. Stryver. Stryver takes all of the credit from Carton's work, and Carton does realize he was being taken advantage of, he just doesnt do anything about it. He has many redeeming qualities, but has been ground down by life and taken advantage of for far too long.

Kelsey Pacheco: Sidney Carton is a drunk and calls himself worthless to life, but he still alot more intelligent then CJ Stryver but Sidney Carton doesnt get credit for any of his work CJ Stryver takes all of the credit.

Tee Goncalves
Out of Stryver and Carton, Carton is more intelligent and far more talented. He thinks very low of himself, even though there is no need. He thinks he is nothing but a drunk looser with nothing to give to anyone, and he feels like he has nothing to give either.

Colin Aubut: Sidney Carton is much more significant in life than just a drunk. A better title for him would be the intelligent one. His preperation for trials express how smart he really is and just because he doesn't think he is smart and drinks over the fact that he thinks that he is worthless doesn't make him insignificant. The qualities he has are extremely well qualities.

Nick Kenyon: Sidney Carton is shown to be a drunk in this novel, but he is actually very smart. He is very intelligent even though he doesn't appear to be. He works for CJ Stryver, but Stryver takes all the credit so he gets very disstressed.

Steph Johnson: Carton calls himself a worthless drunk, but he is actually really intelligent. Alot brighter than CJ Stryver even though Stryver takes all the credit and Carton doesnt get any of it.
